These tiles were created after I read about Slimhead fish, who live in the deep depths of the sea.
Process:
These white earthenware tiles are created from slab and cut with a tile cutter. Additional clay is built up in areas, formed, carved and detailed. They then go through a bisque firing. I then sand them down with very fine sandpaper. Glaze is applied followed by the final firing.
* Offered framed, allowing it to be displayed as wall art, or unframed with the option to install in a home.
