This Ceramic Water Pipe is a one of a kind work of art.
It was handmade using a slab construction technique, as are the slide/bowl and downstem.
All parts are assembled, formed, carved, detailed, bisque fired, glazed and fired again.
Working with clay is quite a process and to make something special takes time. This way of creating helps with the connection between the artist and the piece.
When it's not being used recreationally it displays beautifully on it's own or while holding flowers.
