Creating art and working with animals have always been my life's true loves. I fell in love with animals first, but my love for creating wasn’t far behind.

Both have taught me patience, respect, and how to be present in the moment—qualities that are essential when working with animals. I strive to bring those same qualities into my art.

Whether animals appear in my work or not, they are the reason I am able to create.
They are my muse.

Growing up in a family of artists, I was encouraged to explore many different mediums. My focus during art school and graduate school was ceramics, although painting and drawing have remained equally important to me over the years.

Today I happily live in Damariscotta, Maine with my dog Brownie and my ferret Alma
